Ink-heart means "The Dark Heart" or someone who like to read very much as in "Inkheart Trilogy", a series of three
fantasy novels written by German author Cornelia Funke, which revolves around some people who have an unusual
ability to bring characters and any other creatures from books into the real world by just reading aloud ! so imagine
what kind of nightmares they can bring !

The whole idea was bringing two music genres together "Orchestral Music" and "Black Metal" with some
Horror influence to create a fusion of creepy blackened orchestral music in a black metal form, Inkheart music inspired by "Hans Zimmer,Christopher Young,Haward Shore, Don Davis and
a various of other orchestra and film scores composers, and of course by some black metal outfit bands like
"Emperor,Carach Angren,Morgul,Advent Sorrow,Grave Deceleration,Dark
Fortress,Daemonicium,Profanum,NarJahanam and
alot of other great bands

so as a keyboardist,vocalist and lyrics writer Ramiez "Merrik" started composing all tracks and writing the lyrics and
doing the magic of creating music and finally released the first demo "The Desolation of Zodiack"

all track's vocals,lyrics,composing,keyboard and drum machine are by Rameiz Mohammed Salliem "Merrik"

1 - A Nightmare In Ancient East (The Valley Of Abkar)

- Inspired by an ancient legend in the Arabic folklore "The Valley Of Abkar", which the ancient Arabs believed that this
valley is haunted by the Poets Of Jinn, and the legend said that if someone dared to spend a night in the valley, a poet
from the Jinn will show up and teach him the art of poetry and then the Jinn will became his own consort.

2 - The Man Ov Thousand Voice

- A horror stories author who was obsessed with a demon he created in his books "The Man Of Thousand Voice" - A
demon likes to torture his victims slowly by singing with strange and creepy voices to make them lose their mind or
maybe cut their ears out to stop hearing terrible voices ! - so in order to get some inspiration the author was trapped in
a haunted house, then he realized that all of this was real, and after he is done trying to escape, he slowly begins
to lose his sanity and then surrender to his dark side and embrace the real horror.


3 - A Vengeance Ov A Hybrid


- The ancient war between the vampires and werewolves, and the story of a hybrid who was seeking revenge from both
and from his family for abondonig him as an abomonation of nature althought he is stronger tha both


4 - The Heart Ov The Seven Seas

- Inspired by Davy Jones the captain of the Flying Dutchman (based on the feared ghost ship of the same name featured
in nautical lore) who is roaming the seas in search of souls of those who died at sea from this world to the next on his
vessel. He was charged with this duty by his one true love, a sea goddess named Calypso. For every ten years at sea he
could spend one day on land to be with her. Ten years after first being charged with the duty, Jones prepared to be
reunited with his true love, but was heartbroken and enraged when she did not appear. Unable to deal with the sadness
of Calypso's betrayal, he cut out his heart and placed it in a chest, burying it on the plague island Isla Cruces.
in 03:50 part i played a medley from "Pirates Of The Caribbean" which was originally played by Hans Zimmer who
scored the movie soundtrack



5 - The Curse Ov Lamia (Christopher Young Cover)


- ( Inspired by the horror movie "Drag Me To Hell" score which was all composed by Christopher young - I ADDED A

VOCAL LIN,LYRICS,AND SOME HORROR EFFECTS AND VOICES ONLY - all the instrumentals are by Christopher

young )

- A story of a banker who is haunted by an ancient powerful demon called "The Lamia" or "The Black Goat" and once

the curse is set the Lamia will haunt the victim for three days and nights turning life into a living nightmare before it

ultimately manifesting and literally dragging them into Hell to suffer an endless torment at the hands of the evil dead,

and it almost unstoppable once it has been unleashed, The Lamia is described as "The most feared of all Demons".
